Value Statement

‘As a group of health care professionals, we believe that the health interests and needs of our patients take priority.   We are committed to professional competence, use of scientific knowledge, continuously improving the quality of patient care, honesty with patients, maintaining appropriate relationships with patients, facilitating patient autonomy, maintaining confidentiality, and improving patients’ access to care.

We are part of Partnership Health, a Primary Health Organisation (PHO) charged with improving the health of the people of Canterbury at the primary care level.   Through the PHO we support initiatives to provide a socially just health service with access for all to quality health care and health promotion services.

We recognise the Treaty of Waitangi as a national founding document and are committed to incorporating its principles into our practice.   We will continue to improve our services to be more culturally accessible and appropriate to people of all backgrounds.’
